But now, machined metal cards can act as a multitool of sorts, while still fitting comfortably in your jeans pocket. Tuls, a set of stainless steel or titanium flat tools, is the latest entrant to this trend. Currently on Kickstarter (and blasting past their target funding goal ), Tuls looks like a metal business card but is cut such that it can be used as a variety of useful tiny tools a protractor, standard and metric wrenches, a bottle opener. Tuls comes in four different varieties. Each can be had for $22, or you can get the full set of four (when they ship in October) for $88. The team behind Tuls, Onehundred , created another successful Kickstarter, drink-chilling metal Pucs, earlier this summer that is in the packing phase and will be shipping earlier than scheduled, so were pretty confident these guys can deliver. But the favorite hybrid card-tool around these parts is the business card of hacker and security expert Kevin Mitnick , pictured below. Its a lock picking set. For reals.
